Software & App Development Services

The firmware, apps, and cloud that turn hardware into a product people can actually use.

A connected product is really three products — firmware on the device, an app in someone's pocket, and a service in the cloud holding it together. They are usually built by different people who do not talk to each other, which is why so much connected hardware pairs badly, drops its connection, and never gets a firmware update.

We build all three, and we have shipped production apps to both the App Store and the Google Play Store — including review, signing, and the parts of release that only bite you the first time. That matters more than it sounds: an app that cannot get through review is a product that cannot ship, regardless of how well the hardware works.

Practical consequences we design for from the start: onboarding that a non-technical customer completes without support, a Bluetooth pairing flow that recovers when it fails rather than dead-ending, and OTA updates that let you fix firmware after the product is in the field. Shipping a device you cannot update is a decision most teams regret within a year.

A short scoping conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right fit — and we will say so if we are not.
