Industrial Design Services

How the product looks, feels, and is understood the first time someone picks it up.

Industrial design decides whether someone picks your product up, and whether they understand it once they have. On a shelf or a listing page it is doing most of the selling before a single specification is read.

The failure mode we see most is design that was never reconciled with manufacturing — a form that requires undercuts nobody costed, a surface finish that shows every knit line, a wall section that sinks. Because our industrial design sits beside the mechanical team rather than upstream of it, styling decisions get pressure-tested against draft, parting lines, and tooling cost while they are still cheap to change.

We also treat ergonomics and human factors as design constraints rather than a review step. How the product is held, which control is found first without instructions, and what happens when someone uses it wrong are all cheaper to solve in sketches than in a second tooling revision.

Most of this work is done in-house by our own engineers. For a few specialised areas we bring in vetted partners from our consultant network, and we tell you which is which before you commit to anything.

Talk to an engineer about your project

A short scoping conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right fit — and we will say so if we are not.
