Why We Exist
Most inventors with a good idea hit the same wall: the engineering opinion they need costs $5,000 from a consulting firm, $300/hour from a patent attorney, and weeks of waiting from either. The other option — friends, online forums, YouTube comments — gives them polite encouragement and bad data.
So inventors spend their savings building the wrong thing, or worse, never build anything at all. A few hundred dollars of honest engineering opinion at the right moment would have changed the outcome.
We built Invention Space to be that opinion. A small team of design engineers who have shipped physical products, using AI to do the prep so we can spend our time on judgment instead of busywork. The deliverable is plain: tell the inventor what we actually think, in writing, after a real conversation.
